In an effort to provide local students a safe space to think about the critical needs of their communities and create their own solutions, CEP offered “CLAP (The Civic Leadership Ambassador Program)” during SY2020-2021. The program was uniquely designed for youth who are determined to make a difference in their communities. Despite the challenges brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic, students have successfully identified community concerns, researched root causes and potential solutions, and actively sought out resolutions.
